Heirloom Organic Wilson's Sweet Watermelon Seeds (5)
Cucurbitaceae Citrullus lanatus

Truly an amazingly sweet watermelons. Produces perfect 15-20 pound watermelons that keeps well.
PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS: Sow the seed one-half inch deep outdoors after frost season is over and soil is warm. Soil should be rich and well-amended with compost or manure. Sow the seed 12 inches apart, in rows 6 feet apart. They can be started indoors from seed no more than 2-3 weeks prior to setting-out date, and never let watermelon seedlings become root-bound in their pots. Watermelon is usually ripe when the light patch on the underside has changed to pale yellow, and the tendrils immediately opposite the stem from the fruit tendril immediately opposite the stem from the fruit has withered. Wilson Sweet is an older variety, about 20 lbs. It stands out because of its markings which I can best described as speckled. Dark green on light green just a beautiful watermelon specimen and a magnificent addition to any garden. So Tasty! 80 days. Very unique spotted rind, with very crisp, sweet red flesh that bursts with rich, old-fashioned watermelon flavors! One of the best melons I’ve ever tried. Truly an award winning melon! It used to be grown commercially, and was offered by several seed companies in the 1960s, but has since become nearly extinct and is very sought after by melon growers and hard to find. A great variety for home and market gardeners, as it produces 15-to 20 lb fruit that keeps well and rich sweet flavorful that's definitely a crowd pleaser.

How to Make Watermelon Juice
Ingredients

2 cups watermelon, diced
1 cup water (or coconut water)
1 tablespoon simple syrup or granulated sugar, to taste
Lime juice (optional)

Equipment
Blender

Step 1: Blend It
Add the diced watermelon and water to your blender and puree until smooth. Add more water if you prefer a smoother consistency. Alternately, if you like a more slushie-like texture, add in some ice.

Step 2: Flavor It
Depending on the sweetness of your watermelon, you can sweeten with simple syrup or sugar. (Learn how to make simple syrup here.) You can also give your drink a tart, refreshing squeeze of lime juice.
