Description:
Cherry Queen Zinnia features eye-catching, double flowers that are 4-5" across and packed with fiery cherry-red petals. As the flower matures, a circle of small golden stars surrounds its center disc. Borne atop sturdy stems, the luminous blossoms flat above the fresh green foliage and make a bold statement in the landscape. Blooming profusely over a lengthy season extending from early summer to frost, this Zinnia is easy to grow and perfect for sunny borders and fresh bouquets.
Planting Instructions:
Direct sow in spring. This seed germinates best in warm soil. Plant just below the surface and keep the soil lightly moist until germination which usually occurs within 2 weeks. Seedlings do not transplant well, so if starting inside use individual peat pots sowing several seeds in each one.
